About Journal for Philosophy and Psychiatry

The Journal for Philosophy and Psychiatry is an online Journal with open access for all interested readers. If interested, it is possible to submit to a newsletter to stay informed about our quarterly publishings. 

Possible structure of issues

• papers concerning a special topic
• varia: original papers, reviews, essays, case reports
• short communication

Categories

1. original papers, essays, reviews (e.g. as part of a special topic issue) (size of papers 10.000-40.000 characters, abstracts in original language (if not english, max. 200 words) and english (max. 450 words))
2. case reports (with ethical, philosophical, or psychological-psychiatric topics; size of papers 15.000-30.000 characters)
3. portraits, interviews (with ethical, philosophical, or psychological-psychiatric topics; size of papers 5.000-15.000 characters)
4. short communications (aphorisms, anecdotes, comments, congress reports, information about publications, letters, questions, reports, thesis; size of short communications should not exceed 5.000 characters)

Papers of the categories 1. and 2. will be peer reviewed, short communications and papers of category 3. will be reviewed by the editors.
